Part 1 of my 3-part series of underwater photography workshops, “Underwater Photography 1.01” is the training you need if you’re considering a leap into the water with your camera.

Shooting in controlled environments; Working with cameras in the ocean; Surface shooting; Freediving/snorkelling /SCUBA diving with a camera; Dive equipment choices; good diver-photographer practice and dive training; Planning, dive buddies and other safety considerations; Underwater photographer etiquette
Get introduced to the techniques of–
wide-angle shooting; macro; half over / half under shooting; working with sea creatures; shooting people underwater; simple post-processing
On completion of this workshop you’ll be set for the next step in your underwater photography training –
“Practical Underwater Photography” – a hands-on workshop where you’ll get you and your camera housing wet… shooting pictures in a closely-supervised controlled-water environment and experience first-hand how to deal with all the challenges of capturing images under water under my guidance.
“Underwater Imaging” is the third in my series of underwater courses. Here you’ll learn the secrets of dealing with the digital images you’ve captured underwater. Raw conversion; colour balancing; image enhancement; file preparation for print and AV production are all covered in step-by-step processes, completing preparations for your own adventure into shooting underwater.
